We are deeply saddened by the loss of Prof. Dr. Erhan Karaesmen, a distinguished figure of our department and the Department of Civil Engineering at METU. The farewell ceremony for Professor Karaesmen took place on July 25, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the METU Alumni Association Vişnelik Facilities, and he was laid to rest at Karşıyaka Cemetery following the afternoon prayer at 4:55 p.m. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and all who loved him.
