We are deeply saddened by the loss of Prof. Dr. S. Semih Tezcan.
We have learned with deep sorrow of the passing of Prof. Dr. S. Semih Tezcan, one of the retired faculty members of our department. We extend our condolences to his grieving family, relatives, and all who loved him.
His funeral will be held at Şakirin Mosque on April 16th 2026, Thursday. Following the afternoon prayer, he will be laid to rest at Karacaahmet Cemetery. Prior to the funeral, a memorial ceremony will be held at 2:00 PM in front of Albert Long Hall, South Campus.
